Tanner + Christina || Celina, TX Wedding Photographer

I love the way she bubbled putting on her dress, giggling through makeup, squeezing mom and dad before the ceremony. I love that he wore a bright blue beanie most of the day and how his voice trembled during the vows (quite a difference from the usual boisterous humor of the day). I love that both of them had such a diverse assortment of friends at their side, I love that he surprised her with fireworks over the lake at night to overflow such a perfect day.

Tanner and Christina are two wonderful people whose love kept pouring over and filling every guest at their wedding with joy. Of course their day was nothing short of a reunion of family and friends who cheered and cried and watched and nodded as they became husband & wife.

I was blessed to be able to second shoot this wedding with Jessica Shae at The Venue at Waterstone in Celina, TX. Thank heaven for golf cart rides and lovely summer days like these.

Madeleine + Matthias || McKinney, TX Elopement Photographer

Madeleine and Matthias are two people I am grateful to know and love. Madeleine called me a week before their elopement and asked "what are you doing this weekend?" And I couldn't have asked for a more precious, intimate, emotion-filled, special day to be apart of. From Madeleine getting ready in her grandparents home, to the teary vows the two of them pledged to one another with their dearest family and a few friends at their side, the day was absolutely what I love about what I do. A story. Rich, deep, raw, vulnerable, honest, and mmmmmm so so good

Madeleine & Matthias, I am honored to have laughed, cried, and felt all the feels of your day. Thank you for choosing me to capture such an enormous, precious moment in your lives. You two are such an incredible pair, and make the world a better place with your love.

XO

When she was eleven, her momma told her to 'go over and meet the new boy next door.' And so, Lindsay met Jordan.

These two darlings are some of the fullest and richest in life - not because of things they have but because of how they live - in love with every inch of what's around them: making memories, meeting new faces, taking risks, embracing laughter, being together. In August they celebrated the best thing - 5 years of being married. This is what I love about what I do - getting to meet brave lovers like these who will meet you first for the first time like an old friend and let you share their story because they love it so much. It really is magic.

These are the neighbor boy and girl, high school sweethearts, college pair, forever soulmates - Lindsay & Jordan. Happy best friend anniversary, you two!

This girl is a special soul. One of those that you can count on to be an anchor in a frenzy of people and opinions and drama. We met in junior-high through competitive speech and debate and our friendship slowly evolved from mouse-like interaction ('does she like me? i hope she likes me') to hiding under staircases and in hallways together and jabbing each others sides from behind and busting our sides laughing at inappropriate moments. Donelle is wild one. A stallion, an eagle, a roaring river. Yet she is gentle. Fierce protector and faithful friend. She'll tease and push your buttons, but she listens. Understands, when the world has dragged your heart through the dirt and you feel alone. She makes me laugh a lot a lot and she's one of the few I can say has always been there and always will be. Let's just say I adore her a lot.
